These catches just in

May 6, 2008
Hi John ,
George Ramirez and his friend Sandy fished with me on the First Light east of Stepping Stone Lighthouse on the out going tide. George land a twenty-five pound , 38” Bass, using your FRESH bunker and fluorocarbon leaders was the right combo. We also caught and were teased by some snapper Blues.

May 6, 2008 Capt. James skipper the ISLAND CURRENT II and fished the easterly drops off of Mattinecock Pt. over broken bottom. The morning bite was picky; however, once the tide eased off and started ebbing the fish chewed. We had over 40 + fat flatties with some anglers hitting 6 or 7 a piece. All fish were caught on bank mussels and sandworms.Today we caught our first PORGY of the '08 season as it was carefully released.Sailing everyday at 8 AM for Jumbo Flounder & 6:30 PM for STRIPED BASS & BLUES.For online ticket purchases, private charter information, or to sign up for our mailing list, or catch of the week photos visit our website at http://www.islandcurrent.com/.Tight Lines,Capt.
