Happy Holidays!

We have finally come to the end of the 2008 fishing season. Do not let that get you down because we always have the spring to look forward to after all that is what makes living in the Northeast so great!...Looking forward to the of spring after missing it all winter long. This will be my last fishing report for 2008 and I want to take this time to thank all of you for a great 2008 season and to remind you to come on down to in Jack's. We will be open into mid December also a reminder that you can shop online all year long.

On the blackfish front the party boats continue to get some fish while fishing more to the East on the Conn. side of The Long Island Sound in deeper waters between 50-75 feet. Best bait now is green crabs.

The Daybreak and The North Star will finish their season Sunday Nov. 30. The Riptide and The Island Current will sail into the first week in December and possibly beyond weather permitting.

Starting Dec.1st our in store hours of operation will be 8am to 6pm Mon-Sun
